The AI Guy is a static-first AI tools directory, guide and affiliate-link site operated by Michael Danilov / The AI Guy project from Israel unless a later entity is published. Contact: [email protected]. You can browse the site without creating an account.

Information we collect

• Browsing and technical data: basic server/CDN logs such as page URL, timestamp, user agent, referrer, approximate region, IP address, performance data, and security events may be processed by Cloudflare and other hosting/CDN/security providers.
• Cloudflare analytics and security: the site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics/Insights, CDN logs, bot/security protections, and performance measurement. This can process technical request data and aggregate page-performance events.
• Search and click interaction data: if analytics are enabled, we may record aggregate events such as search terms, page views, tool profile clicks, outbound tool clicks, and category navigation. We use this to improve rankings, category coverage and broken-link checks.
• Messages and submissions: if you email us, submit a correction, suggest a tool, request sponsorship, or ask about affiliate placement, we may process your name, email address, company/tool name, website URL, and the content of your message.
• Affiliate/outbound data: outbound links may go through allowlisted redirect pages or affiliate networks. Vendors and affiliate networks may process your visit according to their own privacy policies.

How we use information

• Operate, secure, debug and improve the site.
• Maintain AI tool listings, outbound-link status, category pages and practical guides.
• Respond to emails, correction requests, sponsorship requests and affiliate inquiries.
• Measure which categories/tools users find useful.
• Detect spam, abuse, broken links, and unsafe outbound redirects.

Cookies and analytics

The current MVP does not require user accounts. We use Cloudflare hosting/CDN/security services and may use Cloudflare Web Analytics/Insights or similar privacy-conscious analytics. If affiliate networks are used, those networks may use cookies or tracking parameters after you leave our site.

Legal bases / rights

Depending on your location, including the EEA/UK, California, or other regions, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to, appeal, or restrict processing of personal information. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information as a data broker. We may share limited data with hosting, CDN, analytics, email, security, and affiliate providers as needed to operate the site.

Data retention

We keep operational logs, analytics and messages only as long as needed for site operation, security, business records, legal obligations, and directory-quality work.

Children

The site is intended for business and creator-tool research, not for children. Do not submit personal information if you are under the age required by laws in your location.
